Does it work in the background?
Yes. With background location permission and tracking enabled, Uncover can record new tiles while you move. You can pause tracking in the app. Background location use can affect battery life.
Can I use it while cycling or driving?
Yes. Discover tiles on walks, rides, and drives. Travel above 200 km/h doesn’t earn tiles.
Where is my exploration data stored?
On your device, with iCloud sync across your devices. No Uncover account is required. Read our privacy policy for details, including crash reporting.
